Samuel F. Pryor III Shawangunk Gateway Campground
Operated by The American Alpine Club, the newly-opened Samuel F. Pryor III Shawangunk Gateway Campground has 50 tent sites (4 people/1 vehicle limit per site), pay showers, a covered pavilion for cooking, a fire ring, and is a short hike from the Mohonk Preserve. The campground is open May 15 through mid-November, weather permitting. Reservations can be make here.
